It’s pretty exciting that Bree Olson and Kayden Kross are going to be hosting the XBIZ Awards. It’s especially exciting for us here at HotMovies.com because we’re nominated for VOD Company of the Year for the second year in a row! We took home the prize last year, and we certainly all have our fingers crossed again!

I’m sure James is also pretty excited about Bree Olson and Kayden Kross hosting, because he’ll be able to shake their hands when accepting the reward! I’m sure other winners will hope to do a lot more than shake hands though!

Alexis Texas joined the bandwagon of porn stars with her answer when I asked “what’s the biggest misconception of girls in the industry.” If most people think porn stars do drugs and party all the time, how come I haven’t interviewed any of them? We all love train wrecks. But I guess it makes sense that I haven’t interviewed a train wreck yet because I’ve only laid my hands (microphone) on the cream of the crop!

Courtney Cummz is definitely not shy, and she offered up some solid advice for new comers to the biz. She advises to take it slow if you would like your career to last long, yet don’t be afraid to try new things such as anal. HotMovies.com To Offer Girlfriends Films Exclusives in December ’08 & January ’09

Philadelphia, PA – HotMovies.com announced today that it will offer the exclusive VOD pre-release of two highly anticipated titles from lesbian production powerhouse, Girlfriends Films. Next week’s VOD debut of the hot-selling Backstage Girls will be the first of the exclusives. In January 2009, another release event will center on the inaugural volume of Girlfriends’ chart-topping new series, Mother/Daughter Exchange Club 1.

We’re very excited to bring them new releases, months ahead of time, of two of Girlfriends’ top selling titles.”

Backstage Girls tells the fictional story of life on tour with the all-hottie, real-life, hard rock band Kill Slowly (killslowly.com) and their sex crazed lesbian groupies. Kill Slowly recorded an indelible soundtrack for this kick-ass movie that features hot stars including Madelyn, Elexis Monroe, Lily Paige, Darryl Hanah, Ginger Lee, Joelean, and Bobbi Starr.

Expectations are also sky high for Girlfriends Films’ latest, best selling series, Mother/Daughter Exchange Club that makes its HotMovies.com, VOD debut 7 January 2009. RIP Bettie Page

As I’m sure many of you have heard by now, Bettie Page passed away last night [12/11/2008]. She was truly an inspiration to anyone in the Adult Industry because let’s face it, she was a pioneer.

Back in the ’40s when she ran away from her abusive relationship in Tennessee, she met an awesome couple involved in the pornography business in where else, but New York City. Thanks to that wonderful couple and the beautiful Bettie Page, we have been blessed with many a beautiful photo of the kinky and awesome model and actress.

Even though in her later years she found God and stopped modeling, she always wanted to remembered for her young, pioneering days. She knew she was a true inspiration to all.

We’ve Been Nominated for the 2009 XBIZ VOD Company of the Year!

Well folks, among all the buzz of the 2009 AVN Awards, I don’t want you to forget about the XBIZ awards. I know sometimes they seem like they aren’t as exciting as the AVN Awards, but that’s only because there aren’t categories like “Best All Girl Group Sex.” Instead, XBIZ has categories like “VOD Company of the Year”, Which we just so happen to have been nominated for, and won last year.

This is pretty exciting news because at HotMovies we pride ourselves on having the largest, best and most easily accessible movie library for our viewers. I’m not going to list the competition, but let’s just say that I think we have a good shot, as long as industry people don’t want to be unfair by awarding us 2 years in a row. But hey, give praise where praise is due- HotMovies.com. (I should be the spokesperson or some shit).

We have an extensive library and we even had a HUGE party to celebrate our 100,000th movie!

Our 2009 AVN Awards Picks! Part Two

The Nominees for the the 2009 AVN awards have been released and I’ve made my decisions and I’m sharing them with you.. whether you like it or not.
(Keep in mind that I narrowed the categories down to 13 out of the fucking MILLION that are awarded) Here are my last 6:

Best Art Direction:
The Texas Vibrator Massacre. I mean seriously, how can you go wrong with this movie? We all know that The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was a pretty bad ass movie (the original, of course- I’m not retarded) and pairing that with sex, and vibrators= magic.

Best Big Bust Release:
Big Wet Tits 6 starring Abbey Brooks. Maybe I’m just partial to the box cover design of Elegant Angel movies because they’re so clean and simple, but my vote is for this one. I don’t think I really need a better reason.

Best Big Butt Release:
White Booty Worship starring Velicity Von. Once again, I’m going with Elegant Angel box cover designs for my reason.

Best Director [Feature]:
Carolina Jones and The Broken Covenant starring Ava Rose with director Ethan Kane.

Best Director [Non Feature]:
Buttman’s Beautiful Brazilian Ass with director John Stagliano. I’m picking this movie because who doesn’t love a Big Brazilian Ass? If you don’t, there’s clearly something wrong with you.

Best New Starlet:
Lexi Belle. I think she’s super fucking cute, and totally relate able. Well, except for the fact that I’m a normal girl and she’s a porn star that takes 10 dicks a day.
