Sadly, the beautiful and pioneering Marilyn Chambers has died.
The details of her death won’t be determined until a scheduled autopsy is completed, but Cheif Assistant Coroner, Ed Winters said that it appears she died of natural causes.
Marilyn became known after the release of “The Green Door”, and quickly was elevated to the heights of porn stardom possibly shared only by Linda Lovelace and John Holmes.
Known for her drive for sexual exploration, Marilyn pushed the boundaries by performing in one of the first widely seen interracial scenes, and by doing double and triple penetrations. Purportedly, she was one of the few who were able to deep throat John Holmes’ legendary serpent.
Her career was extensive, and although by the time of her death she hadn’t broken into truly mainstream film-making, the legacy of Marilyn Chambers adult films has lived for over thirty years.
