Pornstar Skateboards!

( LOS ANGELES, CA ) - Adult entertainment superstar Aurora Snow will be joining some of her cohorts and the folks from Pornstar Skateboards in Manhattan Beach this Saturday for a can’t miss party.

Pornstar Skateboards has put some of the biggest names in adult entertainment on their skateboards. They have combined a slick design with one-of-a-kind graphics to create their unique pornstar decks. This Saturday they are set to bring some of those same stars to Manhattan Beach for a spectacular soirée at Sharkeez.

A Misti Coincidence

There is a perfect word which explains the coincidental nature of this post. Serendipity is a word i try not to use too often, but when I am logging in to post a couple shout-outs from Misti Dawn to HotMovies…there’s just no better description.

Misti Dawn I guess it’s time to “let the cat out of the bag” on my love for Misti. If the AVN Awards were run by this writer, Best New Starlett would have turned out much differently. No offense to Kagney Linn Karter who is also extremely sexy. If you haven’t noticed yet, Misti commented on the “Special Thanks” post I wrote recently to the stars who signed for our booth at AEE this year. The “Serendipity” I am referring to is based on me not noticing this until I began to write this post.

Triangle Films Releases River Rock Women’s Prison on HotMoviesForHer

Mobile Tech Alert!

Gartner, global technology researcher, has released a new report indicating that consumers will spend $6.2 billion on mobile applications in 2010.

Analysts expect that 4.5 billion app downloads will occur in 2010, with eighty percent of these apps being free to consumers. Mobile advertising revenue is expected to generate $0.6 billion worldwide as a result. Gartner is also expecting downloads to rise to more than 21.6B by 2013; with the percentage of free downloads increasing to 87 percent in the same time.

Mobile applications can be offered as free due to internal charges or pure advertising revenue. Some applications are free to download the program itself, but all program extensions are locked until paid for. Advertising revenue has been created through mobile apps by placing ads between game levels or on loading screens.

“As smartphones grow in popularity and application stores become the focus for several players in the value chain, more consumers will experiment with application downloads,” Gartner research director Stephanie Baghdassarian, said. “Games remain the No. 1 application, and mobile shopping, social networking, utilities and productivity tools continue to grow and attract increasing amounts of money.”

The study alludes to the future trends smart phones will be experiencing within the market. As smart phones drop in price, the average tech savvy of their users is going to also drop. As users of smart phones become less technologically inclined, they will also be more reluctant to pay for applications.

“Growth in smartphone sales will not necessarily mean that consumers will spend more money, but it will widen the addressable market for an offering that will be advertising-funded,” Baghdassarian added. “The value chain of the application stores will evolve as rules are set and broken in an attempt to find the most profitable business model for all parties involved.”

“Application stores will be a core focus throughout 2010 for the mobile industry and the applications themselves will help determine the winner among mobile device platforms,” said Gartner research director Carolina Milanesi. “Consumers will have a wide choice of stores and will seek the ones that make it easy for them to discover applications they are interested in and make it easy to pay for them when they have to. Developers will have to consider carefully not only which platform to support but also which store to promote their applications in.”

Batman XXX

Dave Navarro, Rock Star guitarist from Jane’s Addiction, will be making a short cameo in Vivid’s new Porn Parody “Batman XXX”. Navarro’s cameo in this parody is only one of it’s appeals though. Vivid has taken the classic 60′s television series and gone through pain staking measures to maintain it’s historical quality.

“Batman XXX” seems to be boasting everything short of Adam West himself. Many original Batman objects and filming techniques are being used in it’s production, including use of the original “Batmobile,” the “Batusi” dance and the “Batclimb” effect. Director Axel Braun has also revealed that costumes for the movie have been made by the same manufacturers of the original outfits for the TV show, using the same materials and dyes at a total cost of nearly $20,000.

Veteran Porn Star Nick Manning will be playing Batman. Manning reportedly went through an 8-week training regimen and dropped almost 30lbs for the role. Manning is also planning to cut his trademark long hair.

“Every detail is absolutely faithful to the original, with only minor modifications,” Braun said.

Keep an eye out for “Batman XXX”. It is shaping up to be a must see XXX Parody from Vivid Entertainment.

In retrospect, I am happy to have had what we had as I know, now, many people have much less.

Dana you are absolutely killing it this year. You are nominated for: Performer of the Year, Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene – Squirt Gangbang 4, Most Outrageous Sex Scene – Squirt Gangbang 4, Best Gonzo Release – Bobbi Starr & Dana DeArmond’s Insatiable Voyage and Best Threeway Sex Scene – Semen Sippers 7 at the 2010 AVN Awards this year. How does it feel to be on top?

This has been quite a year for me, it’s all a bit overwhelming. On top of the 2010 AVN nominations, I will also be presenting at the AVN awards. I have to say I am very honored. I’ve been working tirelessly, not just this year, but for the last six years and it’s really a great feeling to be recognized by the industry’s top publications, directors, producers and my peers. I’ve also been lucky enough to shoot overseas twice this year; with Gazzman/Harmony in London and Evil Angel directors Christoph Clark and Rocco Siffredi in Budapest! During the last euro trip I presented at the Hot D’or awards in Paris. This year has opened so many opportunities for me and I feel truly blessed.

Is there anything from your experience as a figure skater that has helped you in the Adult Industry?

I think growing up with stage parents gave me a drive to be a great performer. I have always been an entertainer, it must be in my blood. Figure skating took a lot of hard work and discipline and made me very aware of my body and posture. It groomed me to be a lady and an athlete. My training carried over to my work as a performer at Disney and Universal and eventually to the stages of gentleman’s clubs. I just have a passion for performing and I am very fortunate to have been able to do what I love all my life.

You spent time as a street dancer in Disney World. What’s your favorite memory from your time under the Mouse?

I worked at the magic kingdom for 3 years, as an impressionable teen I was exposed to the best and worst of the entertainment industry. It taught me a lot about people and humanity. Nothing else gave me more joy than to see the smiles on the faces of the terminally ill children who were guests of the park through “Give Kids The World.” There is nothing more powerful than to be part of fulfilling the dreams of a dying child.

Update: Jazella Moore Recieves Hustler Spread

Anabella Mota Janke, better known as Jazella Moore in the adult industry, first caught the public eye when her husband was removed from his position as Town Manager in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. His removal was for no reason concerning his work, which is still admitted to have been more than satisfactory. Mayor Larry Kiker has made it very clear that Anabella’s husband was removed because of her professional adult career.
