Since Sasha Grey has put a foot hold into her role on Entourage, it seems her plans to leave porn for more serious acting opportunities are solidified. The Magnum LIVE LARGE Project

PRINCETON, N.J.—Two of the biggest names in freestyle rap and condoms, Ludacris and the makers of Magnum condoms, are joining forces in a nationwide search for the best freestyle rap artists in the country.

The second annual Magnum Live Large Project features rap competitions in four major cities (Detroit, San Francisco, Miami and New York) and an online voting competition on YouTube. Semi-finalists will be invited to appear on stage alongside Ludacris.

At each city, local judges select the top three performers, and then videos of the winners will be posted HERE, where people can vote for the best rapper from each city. People who can’t make it to the local events will also have the opportunity to compete for a spot on the Magnum Live Large League by uploading their own performance video under the “Submit” tab. The leading vote getters will join the Magnum Live Large League.

These winners will then have the opportunity to appear live on stage alongside Ludacris at a hip-hop concert May 29 at Spring Fest in Miami, one of the nation’s biggest music events. Winners will also receive a $5,000 cash prize and a year’s supply of Magnum condoms, the original gold standard.

“In keeping with the true spirit of Magnum, we challenged ourselves to make this year’s project bigger and better, expanding the scope to secure more of the ‘voice of the people,’” said Jim Daniels, vice president of marketing for Magnum. “True to Magnum form, we’ve enhanced the competition to make the pool of entrants larger, the events larger, and the ultimate payout larger.”

For the second year in a row, Ludacris will be partnering with the Magnum Live Large Project.

India Plans to Block All .XXX

The Adult Industry’s fears concerning ICANN’s recent approval of the top level “.XXX” domain seem to be coming true. The Indian government has boldly stated their plans to block all access to “.XXX” web addresses. According to The Indian Technology Act of 2001, “Whoever publishes or transmits or causes to be published or transmitted in the electronic form any material which contains sexually explicit act or conduct shall be punished on first conviction with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to five years and with fine which may extend to ten lakh rupees [approx. US$20,833] and in the event of second or subsequent conviction with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to seven years and also with fine which may extend to ten lakh rupees.”

Extended fears include Adult websites being forced to give up their “.com” or “.net” addresses for exclusive “.xxx” properties. Of course, such a thing would make censoring all adult materials much easier for more sexually conservative governments. None the less, not everyone is convinced India’s bark has much bite included. Opinions of The Indian Technology Act’s section 67 vary greatly from firmly believing in the negative hype, to thinking it’s rulings are nothing more than a mockery.

“India along with many other countries from the Middle East and Indonesia opposed the grant of the domain in the first place, and we would proceed to block the whole domain, as it goes against the IT Act and Indian laws,” an unidentified “senior official” at the Indian Ministry of Internet Technology told the Economic Times. “Though some people have said that segregation is better, and some countries allow it, for other nations transmission and direct distribution of such content goes against their morals and culture.” – AVN

ICANN Approves “.XXX” Top Level Domain

There’s a new red light district being created – just for the web.

On Friday, the the non-profit group in charge of internet addresses approved a movement to add the internet domain “.xxx” to a list of “generic top level domains” – similar to those those that end in .com, .net or .edu.

The move by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), which has been in the works since the board voted against it in 2007, was a point of contention for adult entertainment webbies who claimed that the new domain adds additional financial pressure to register new domain names.

Many other detractors – including the Obama administration – are concerned the new domain is opening up the door for censorship, especially in foreign countries. The United States has to date generally held the position of not intervening with the web, to avoid stifling growth and development…

The seemingly untouchable blockbuster pop star, Usher, has allegedly been offered a saintly deal by CEO of Vivid Entertainment, Steven Hirsch.

This past Decemeber, Usher Raymond IV had his vehicle robbed of a cool million dollars worth of goods. Included within the stolen property were two laptops, where a sex tape was found of Usher and ex-wife Tameka Foster. One must wonder why a giant Adult Entertainment label, which has made millions marketing other celebrities’ poorly produced video sex romps, would suddenly have a change of heart and decide to stop another release. None the less, the offer is on the table.

Charlie Sheen Internship Race Heating Up

Ginger Lynn Breaks Silence on Charlie Sheen Love Affair

We were all sad to see Ginger Lynn leave the adult screen for the final time a few years ago, but she still has her stories. One made so interesting by recent events, that she decided now to be the time to relinquish it.

“I do want him to be healthy and happy,” Lynn stated.

“We all have demons. We all fight them. We fall down, we get back up. I’ve done it. Everyone I know has done it. It seems to me, without knowing any details, that right now Charlie is gonna take a little different course. Hopefully, he’ll rise again; he’ll be like the phoenix.”

When asked about Sheen’s history of reported violence toward women, Lynn’s comments did not reciprocate public opinion whatsoever.

“Not one time did he raise his voice. No violence.”

So he never hit her? “No!” Lynn said. “I yelled, if anything.”

Let’s all hope Ginger Lynn knows more about Charlie Sheen than his actions make known.

Capri Anderson Comments On The Charlie Sheen Household

Sheen has fathered 4 children since his marriage to Denise Richards in 2002. Sam and Lola Rose were both born in 2005, where twins Bob and Max were born during Sheen’s marriage to Brooke Mueller in 2009. For the non-math majors out there, that means Charlie Sheen has 4 kids at, or under, the age of 6 years old.

“I think it’s very awkward that he would have such young women that he’s not really that involved with, that are not really nurturing motherlike figures [around his kids],” Capri Anderson said.

I am assuming, from the context of the quote above, that Capri Anderson is referring only to the twins Bob and Max. At a maximum of 2 years old, Sheen has been exposing his children to a fairly constant flow of young women. Acting as nannies of sorts, both a porn star and marijuana magazine model have been living with Sheen and the twins.
