I didn’t watch the Oscars, I don’t really care about awards shows because all I really care about is the fashion, and I can see that online the next day.
Anyway, according to the Porn Librarian at HotMovies For Her a former porn director won an Oscar at the latest awards.
The director is Yojiro Takita and he won the 2009 Oscar Winner for Best Foreign Language Film. BUT back in the ’80s he apparently directed a popular porno series about commuter train molesters. Apparently that trend caught on because I read a news article yesterday that said 64% of Japanese women admit to getting groped on the train.
ANYWAY, I thought that was a pretty awesome accomplishment and hopefully it’ll start a great trend.
Last night was the Oscar’s and even though I didn’t watch them (why watch when I get all the pictures and full lists online the next day?), we’re still going to celebrate them today.
MrSkin.com just released the list of his annual Anatomy Award winners for the 10th year. They’re actually not half bad at choosing who has the best bodies/talents in mainstream Hollywood. Here are the winners:

We were nominated for a few XBIZ Awards this year and even though we really wanted to win VOD Company of the Year (which went to AEBN), we won Outstanding Achievement in Global Branding!
I’m not totally sure what that means, I’m assuming they are recognizing us for the large amounts of money we spend on advertising and splashing our name over every flat surface we can find, but YAY! We Won!
The 2009 AVN Movie Awards were yesterday and there were a lot of hot winners! There were definitely a few surprises, but all in all I think the right choices were made.
Here’s the list of what I believe to be the most important categories:

It’s pretty exciting that Bree Olson and Kayden Kross are going to be hosting the XBIZ Awards. It’s especially exciting for us here at HotMovies.com because we’re nominated for VOD Company of the Year for the second year in a row! We took home the prize last year, and we certainly all have our fingers crossed again!
I’m sure James is also pretty excited about Bree Olson and Kayden Kross hosting, because he’ll be able to shake their hands when accepting the reward! I’m sure other winners will hope to do a lot more than shake hands though!
There’s a lot of buzz around Wendy Williams right now, and it’s pretty exciting. Wendy Williams is the owner of Hot Wendy Productions and she’s up for several AVN Awards this year. She has been nominated in the past, and I’m hoping this is the year for Wendy Williams.

Well folks, among all the buzz of the 2009 AVN Awards, I don’t want you to forget about the XBIZ awards. I know sometimes they seem like they aren’t as exciting as the AVN Awards, but that’s only because there aren’t categories like “Best All Girl Group Sex.” Instead, XBIZ has categories like “VOD Company of the Year”, Which we just so happen to have been nominated for, and won last year.
This is pretty exciting news because at HotMovies we pride ourselves on having the largest, best and most easily accessible movie library for our viewers. I’m not going to list the competition, but let’s just say that I think we have a good shot, as long as industry people don’t want to be unfair by awarding us 2 years in a row. But hey, give praise where praise is due- HotMovies.com. (I should be the spokesperson or some shit).
We have an extensive library and we even had a HUGE party to celebrate our 100,000th movie!

The Nominees for the the 2009 AVN awards have been released and I’ve made my decisions and I’m sharing them with you.. whether you like it or not.
(Keep in mind that I narrowed the categories down to 13 out of the fucking MILLION that are awarded) Here are my last 6:
Best Art Direction: The Texas Vibrator Massacre. I mean seriously, how can you go wrong with this movie? We all know that The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was a pretty bad ass movie (the original, of course- I’m not retarded) and pairing that with sex, and vibrators= magic.
Best Big Bust Release: Big Wet Tits 6 starring Abbey Brooks. Maybe I’m just partial to the box cover design of Elegant Angel movies because they’re so clean and simple, but my vote is for this one. I don’t think I really need a better reason.
Best Director [Non Feature]: Buttman’s Beautiful Brazilian Ass with director John Stagliano. I’m picking this movie because who doesn’t love a Big Brazilian Ass? If you don’t, there’s clearly something wrong with you.
Best New Starlet: Lexi Belle. I think she’s super fucking cute, and totally relate able. Well, except for the fact that I’m a normal girl and she’s a porn star that takes 10 dicks a day.
