A lot of buzz has surfaced just recently surrounding the reality television super couple, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag. The married duo, also dubbed “Speidi” by popular media, apparently has a sex tape for sale!
In what would most certainly be every horny “The Hills” fan’s wet dream, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag lay their personal sex life on camera. Spencer is laying the guidelines down at 5 million for the newest celebrity sex tape. There has not been any word of an offer in response from the Adult Industry celebrity sex tape giant, Vivid Entertainment, but you can be sure the news has crossed Steven Hirsch’s luxurious desk.
Popular opinion is that a market DOES exist for the Speidi Sex Tape. Given the long term success and continued viewership of “The Hills“, it is feasible that this reality celebrity sex tape could reach the same levels as “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Danielle Staub’s porn flick. Keep your eyes and ears open on this one. I’m giving the Speidi Sex Tape the “Sleeper” label as of right now. We’ll keep you informed as this story unfolds.
After creating a recurrent character out of Mega Porn Star Sasha Grey on his hit series, Entourage, it does not come as a surprise that Mark Whalberg‘s next project is reportedly a drama focusing on the porn industry.
Whalberg and Executive Producer of Entourage, Steve Levinson, have teamed up with writer James Frey on the project. James Frey is best known for his media controversies. Frey’s memoirs, titled A Million Little Pieces, detail experiences during his treatment for alcohol and drug addiction at a rehabilitation center in Minnesota. Shortly after being released, The Smoking Gun website published an article: “A Million Little Lies: Exposing James Frey’s Fiction Addiction” alleging that Frey fabricated large parts of his memoirs, including details about his criminal record. The questionable writing style eventually reached the ear of day time television giant, Oprah Winfrey, who invited James Frey and his publisher, Nan Talese, to the show for answers. Talese said she and Frey were led to believe the show was going to be a panel discussion on “Truth in America”. Just before air time, both Talese and Frey were told the topic of the show had been changed to “The James Frey Controversy”. According to Talese, at the end of the show, Oprah pulled Frey aside and said, “I know it was rough, but it’s just business.” In May 2009, Vanity Fair reported that Oprah Winfrey had called James Frey and made a formal apology for blasting him on her show for this scandal.
“The plot will focus on a giant video company under siege from Internet competitors and a girl from the Midwest whose boyfriend convinces her to move to Los Angeles to become a star,” - New York Post
“We’re going to make a sprawling epic about the porn business in LA. We’re going to tell the type of stories no one else has told before, and go places no one has gone before.” - James Frey, New York Post
There are many national publications that are already digging at this project and James Frey saying, “I’ve already seen Boogie Nights” and “Just to make sure everyone knows it’s a fictional show, author James Frey has been tapped to write the pilot.” Before you create a false notion of this being a preordained flop by a lying writer, hear me out.
The only thing released recently concerning the modern Adult Entertainment Industry, is Middle Men starring Luke Wilson and Giovanni Ribisi. The film has had mixed reviews and a mild showing, but has not failed. What people in the porn industry know about their fans, is that they DO NOT like associating their personal identities with their tastes and/or interests in pornography. Wahlberg‘s HBO series would fill the gap that a feature mainstream Adult Industry focused film creates, and most likely be much more risque. Those interested are able to watch the hour long drama in the comfort and privacy of their own homes, rather than place their faces amongst others in their community at the local movie theater.
Not to mention, have you read James Frey‘s newer works? In late 2007, Frey signed a new three-book, seven figure deal with Harper Collins to release his novel, Bright Shiny Morning, which was published May 13, 2008. The title made the New York Times Best Seller list, and Michelle Green of People magazine gave the novel a positive review, calling Frey a “wildly talented storyteller”, commenting that the novel is “so powerful it makes one wonder why he ever detoured into nonfiction.”
This past Monday, August 16th, Montana Fishburne, a.k.a. Chippy D Fishburne, finally made contact with her father by phone. This is the first communication Montana has had with Laurence Fishburne since making her decision to enter the world of porn and join Vivid Entertainment.
In our last visit to the Fishburne Saga, we informed you of Laurence‘s failed attempt to band friends together and collectively spend one million dollars to buy every distributed copy of his daughter’s sex tape. Needless to say, Daddy was not happy when his efforts came up short. In his phone conversation with Montana, Laurence was concise and to the point.
Montana‘s father’s choice of words toward his daughter stated, “I’m not going to speak with you ’till you turn your life around.” Obviously referring to when she decides to end her porn career. She also disclosed that his final words on the matter were, “You used your last name. No one uses their real name in porn.” Although Montana Fishburne has been in the media as herself, she did attempt to use “Chippy D” as her porn name. Unfortunately, she billed herself as “Chippy D Fishburne” rather than just the first name and initial. I imagine the retort from a 19 year old went something like, “…but Dad! I wouldn’t have gotten anywhere without it…” Oh Montana, anyone who’s seen your film can say that you got plenty.
News of this interesting adult tech twist has me wanting to shake Steve Jobs’ hand and say, “If you build it, porn will come.” The world renowned adult magazine, PLAYBOY, has decided to join the mobile game with a brand new app for the Apple iPhone.
The new app is actually a high definition mobile edition of PLAYBOY Magazine, but without any tits or ass. In order to be approved by Apple’s puritan regime, Heff’s dream needed to keep the nudity out. So, if a friend of yours has this app…he can truly say that he reads PLAYBOY for the articles. This comes as a confusing decision by Apple after wiping their application store clean of any and all sexual content earlier this year. A purging that included apps featuring not only nude women, but women wearing bikinis and lingerie as well. Since Steve Jobs’ moral iPhone and iPad crusade, many public out-cries have been made concerning the blatant censorship. None have been more influential than that of the disapproval of a Pulitzer Prize winning cartoonist’s application.
Mark Fiore is the cartoonist for the San Francisco Chronicle, and an application featuring his work was created for the iPhone and iPad. Apple initially disapproved the app for Mark’s satirizing of people within his comics. After a large media out-cry, Apple was forced to approve the app and avoid further negative press. It’s interesting how a satirical comic strip requires a social movement in order to receive approval, but a magazine based solely on the male libido can waltz in by cutting women off from the shoulder down. Steve Jobs, your morals are about as solid as the silicone you strive to never support.
Well, it’s official. After selling out 25,000 copies as “Chippy D” in her first porn film with Vivid Entertainment, Montana Fishburne is now a porn star. So much of a porn star in fact, that Vivid has seen enough success to offer her a multi-video deal.
Montana Fishburne‘s father, Laurence Fishburne, worked diligently to form a counter move to his daughter’s newly chosen adult career. He and his close friends had agreed to buy every copy for a collective cool million, and keep the light of social day from ever hitting Montana‘s raised bare ass. Unfortunately, Steven Hirsch had no intention of letting his newest celebrity daughter experiment be tampered with. The DVD had already shipped, and Laurence Fishburne‘s baby girl is now somebody else’s baby on camera.
Information regarding exactly how many films Vivid has offered Montana Fishburne is still a mystery. If they are all this successful, we may be forgetting Montana Fishburne and praising Chippy D much sooner than expected.
It seems that our previous statements regarding Laurence Fishburne‘s approval of his 19 year old daughter, Montana Fishburne, deciding to make a hardcore porn film with Vivid Entertainment were correct. The spiritual leader of the human resistance against robotic artificial intelligence does nothing of the sort.
Montana has publicly stated that her father is angry with her decision, and that she has yet to speak to him about it. Why should she? At the ripe age of 19, Montana is considered an adult by our government and can make every decision any other citizen is given the freedom to. There has never been a 19 year old in the history of our race that has made an unintelligent decision concerning their future right? There’s no value in the advice of her wildly successful A-list celebrity movie star father right?
Montana rationalizes her decision to start her career in the Adult Industry by comparing her future to another celebrity sex tape star. “I view making this movie as an important first step in my career. I’ve watched how successful Kim Kardashian became and I think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape. I’m hoping the same magic will work for me.”, she says. This is all well and good as an observance, but the facts are inconclusive as to what exactly made Kim Kardashian successful.
It is true that Kardashian’s sex tape did leak at the same time as her emergence upon the world came to be. Although, it was not the only thing that she was in the public eye for. Her sex tape with former boyfriend Ray J was supplemented with the beginning of her relationship with NFL star Reggie Bush. Not to mention Kim’s tabloid presence for being one of Paris Hilton’s favorite party partners. Besides Montana‘s last name being forever linked to her father’s timeless characters, she has relatively nothing to stand on. I think instead of trying to follow in Kim Kardashian’s shoes, she might have an easier time following someone like Amanda Bynes. Now if Amanda Bynes had a sex tape releasing, I wouldn’t have an extra hand to type.
Last night’s episode of the hit HBO series Entourage introduced none other than our favorite teddy-bear humping porn star, Sasha Grey. Sasha is playing herself and seeing the golden boy, Vince Chase.
Watching this episode, I spent a lot of time wishing I did not know Sasha for her porn persona originally. Something about seeing her as the innocent half of an encounter creates a glitch in my porn mind. Not to mention the fact that her character was introduced in the most abrupt fashion possible. Most women in the Entourage series come and go like the wind, so seemless character introduction is pointless. Grey‘s character is supposedly a recurrent girlfriend of Vince’s, and that alone makes her brainless entrance a poor writing decision in my mind.
The way other characters were written in around her entrance was rather intelligent. Sasha was portrayed as somewhat of an exhibitionist, but altogether sweet and innocent. Her interactions with Vince are honest and playful in both private and public settings. The rest of the cast on the other hand, seemed to cleverly divert the preconception of Sasha‘s dirty porn career by getting into awkward sexual situations. Ari Gold and his wife enjoyed a comical “angry sex” disagreement where Mrs. Gold refused to sleep with Ari while he was disgruntled over work. This included an extremely soft-core scene in which the audience witnesses Ari having sex with his wife. Eric and Sloan also get into the act by having a discussion about anal sex. Sloan becomes worried about Eric’s fascination, and decides to make sure she is the one he experiences it with. This comedic backdoor entry was also shown on screen in an extreme soft-core fashion.
The use of sex impressed me. I’m not entirely sure how Entourage‘s mainstream audience felt about Sasha Grey before watching the episode, but I believe the writers succeeded in carving her a faux innocence amongst the main cast for the time being. If Sasha’s later place in the Entourage story relies on her being seen as innocent and ultimately coy, I may end up eating my words concerning her entrance. We can only hope and watch.
1)Laurence Fishburne’s daughter, Montana Fishburne, to make Vivid hardcore title.
* Who knew Laurence Fishburne had a 19 year old daughter, let alone that her name is Montana Fishburne? I know Laurence still likes wearing one earring, but since when does he approve of her first step in entertainment being naked and fucked on camera?
As an adult professional, I would bet on this being a publicity stunt to start her career. Unless Montana and Morpheus have had a falling out, I can’t imagine Laurence Fishburne‘s PR representatives wanting his name being synonymous with hardcore porn.
A Film By Mark Pellington
2)Sasha Grey in negotiations to join cast of “I Melt With You” starring Thomas Jane, Rob Lowe, and Jeremy Piven.
* I have to preface this statement by saying that I am a big fan of Sasha Grey. That being said, is it really news that she is going mainstream anymore? Between The Girlfriend Experience and now co-starring in a long run of episodes on Entourage, i’m pretty sure the public knows Sasha is an adult actress with some decent acting talent. This will peak my interest again when I see Sasha Grey‘s name appear on the next Scorsese film poster. I love her on camera, but she still has a long way to go before making a truly successful cross-over into mainstream.
3)iPhone 4 video chat application, FaceTime, being capitalized upon by adult entrepreneurs.
*New York Magazine just published this story, and I had to laugh. I spend 8 hours a day behind a desk and I wrote THIS almost a month ago. Of course people are using new technology for pornography sales. It has been the way consumer technology has been broken in since Al Gore created the internet. A feature film is about to release focusing on it for Pete’s sake.
(Shameless Plug: Go see Middle Men, starring Luke Wilson, Giovanni Ribisi, Gabriel Macht, and James Caan, on August 6th at a theater near you.)
The world needs a wake-up call if they think Steve Jobs is really anti-porn. Steve Jobs loves porn like dogs love smelling each others’ rears. His left leg might even shake at the mention of the Adult Industry, or maybe that’s just because his wallet has gotten uncomfortably big. Without porn, the internet would be a library today. Go to your local library sometime and count how many people are there. Without the internet, the iPhone would be a Palm Pilot. Palm Pilots would be VHS tapes, and smart phones would be DVDs…you pick.
4)Amy Fisher signs contract with Dreamzone Entertainment to make 4 hardcore titles.
* Let’s take a step into the DeLorean and go back in time a bit, shall we? Remember Joey Buttafuoco‘s wife being shot in the face by his underage mistress? Amy Fisher was that mistress, and the 2007 sex tape she released, starring her and her husband, sold over 200,000 copies.
This is real porn news! Amy is very excited to be shooting these films saying, “Our society loves sex. It feels so good and we should enjoy it. Sex is beautiful, powerful, and simply put, no one has the right to tell me what I can or can not do with my own private parts. This time, I get to make the choices on what kind of movies I want to make, and I am excited to work with Dreamzone to make my dreams a reality.” Although 35 is much more than a stone’s throw away from her underage antics, Amy has kept her body in top shape. If the 2007 sex tape is any sign of the porn watching public’s acceptance of her, the first film, at the very least, should be a success.
“When marijuana is regulated and taxed like tobacco and alcohol, the benefits will be enormous: less crime, less violence in Mexico, control over the age of users and revenue for fiscally desperate California. Everybody wins,”
- Phil Harvey, President of Adam & Eve, to XBIZ.
Phil Harvey may be first in your mind for being the President of America’s largest provider of sexual products and adult films, Adam & Eve, but his political and international endeavors are nothing to ignore.
Harvey is president of DKT International, distributor of condoms and contraceptives to impoverished countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. He is also the chief sponsor of the Liberty Project, which raises awareness about free speech issues in the U.S. Phil Harvey’s latest ground breaking sponsorship and U.S. political statement comes via a $100,000 donation to the Drug Policy Action Committee to Tax and Regulate Marijuana. He is the only current listed donor.
The committee has been formed to support Proposition 19. A California ballot proposition which will be on the November 2, 2010 statewide ballot. It legalizes various marijuana-related activities, allows local governments to regulate these activities, permits local governments to impose and collect marijuana-related fees and taxes, and authorizes various criminal and civil penalties.
The idol of millions of male libidos, Hugh Hefner, made a rare media appearance on ABC’s “Nightline.”
Hefner‘s message, “I think that retirement is the first step toward the grave.”
Hugh, now 87, broke the news of his decision to refuse retirement from his 57 year old adult magazine, PLAYBOY, to ABC news correspondent Jon Donovan Thursday night. In the rare main stream news appearance, Hefner expressed concern for PLAYBOY‘s future in the current world economy. “The company in this particular economic climate isn’t being properly dealt with. Our greatest successes as a company came when we were privately held. Maybe I need to recapture my youth.”, said Hefner. Although it may seem like Hugh has taken a back seat and let PLAYBOY try fending for itself, it is still widely known that Hefner chooses the covers, pictorials, the Playmates, and even continues editing the letters as we speak.
“I have strong views about magazine publishing, I think a magazine is like an old friend and what you try to create with a magazine is like an old friend visiting with something new.”- Hugh Hefner
