And most people would admit that a Twitter campaign to score a porn star for a prom date is a novel approach.Though more than a few people noted that the hotel and massage are a tad creepy.

What advice would you give Mr. Stone?

Since Stone is propositioning complete strangers (and it should be noted that they are fabulous looking sexy strangers) to be his date, he should probably change his approach. Here’s a short list of suggestions:

Drop the hotel and massage and go for a five star dinner.
Don’t forget the limosine.
Have a backup plan, like, say, prepare to ask out a classmate.

Reviewing these options, one can see that by eliminating the hotel and massage and adding a limo and a great dinner, Mike “awesome” Stone ditches the “creepy” part of his proposal and adds a touch of class. Anyway, if he really is “awesome,” the hotel and massage will work themselves out. That said, having a backup plan would be a really good idea. It isn’t certain, but it is hard to imagine a top of the line adult actress whisking away in a corporate jet to attend a high school prom. Porn Star Politicians? Time to vote…

Porn star politicians are nothing new. Remember when Mary Carey made the run against “The Governator” for California’s top spot? Yes, she lost, but it was a fun race for a while. Now Italy has a couple of interesting races for mayor positions and one of them features two porn stars running for the city’s top spot.

Here’s what is happening.

Luana Borgia, Milly D’Abbraccio and Amandha Fox are running for mayor. Fox and Borgia are running for mayor of Taranto, and D’Abbraccio is running for mayor of Torre Del Greco. Both cities are in Southern Italy. Fox has won an online poll to become the candidate for the Awake Party. Observers say that her performance in a dance off probably greatly helped her candidacy.

This isn’t unprecedented in Italy. Hungarian-born starlet La Cicciolina won a seat in Italy’s Parliament while she was still making scorching hot porn flicks. Apparently, Italians like a little spice in their politics. No word yet on the Vatican’s opionion of La Cicciolina’s performance in the legislative body. However, it’s likely they didn’t approve of her professional background.

But voters are approving of the performance all around!

Does any of these porn star politicians have a real plan to govern?

Hell yes, and the Fox plan sounds like she’s trying to make a fun town. According to the Daily Caller, Fox has a well developed platform, no, that means she has a political plan. It includes:

She starts by booting heavy industry that pollutes out of town.
She talks about creating a “Puglian version of Atlantic City.”
She wants to spur tourism with new hotels, casinos, restaurants and nightclubs.
She wants to create “Taranto Sex.”

What is “Taranto Sex?”

Now this is a platform position that porn star politicians everywhere should adopt. Fox wants to host a twice annual sex festival and convention in Taranto. If that doesn’t spur voter turnout, nothing will.

It is uncertain whether Fox even has a shot at winning the mayoral position, much less whether or not she could enact such a bold plan. But imagine going to the voting booth and having the opportunity to vote for clean air, expanded hedonism, and a regular sex festival.

Porn Star Teacher Creates New Lesson Plans

A porn star teacher is becoming the source of a big debate in Oxnard, California. No, this isn’t someone providing Master’s of Fine Arts level courses in cinematography. This is 31 year-old Stacie Halas, who was named in a Smoking Gun report before the school district decided to “protect her privacy.” She’s also, apparently, a successful middle school science teacher who happened to be an actor in several adult movies before her current career.

What happened?

According to several published reports, including the previously mentioned Smoking Gun, which you can read here, several students found some of her work on the internet and reported it to the school. It wasn’t parents who found it, it was students, and the school district immediately pointed out that the students should not have been surfing for porn on the internet and immediately informed parents of all of the ways that they can filter internet content so that pre-teens can’t access things that their parents find objectionable, suspended the teacher. Yes, they suspended a teacher for engaging in a completely legal activity that ocurred prior to her teaching career.

And then the school district got preachy about it. No kidding, a 21st Century educator had this response to the situation:

“‘Maybe it’s not a crime as far as the penal code is concerned, but we feel it’s a crime as far as moral turpitude [sic] is concerned,’ said Jeff Chancer, superintendent of the Oxnard school district.” [Emphasis Added]

Naughty Teachers Are More Fun Anyway

For an educator, Mr. Chancer has a bad grip on the meaning of crime. Crime involves prohibited acts. As far as anyone with a laptop can tell, humping in front of a camera in California isn’t a crime, it’s a lucrative industry. Further, people from all walks of life do it in professional and amateur settings (see also: amateur swinger porn).

Stunning though it may seem, a place exists where judgments about “moral terpitude” are perfectly acceptable. It’s called a church. If Mr. Chancer wants to preach morals, that’s a great place to do it, not at the public school where he works, in a state where adult movies are legal, and contribute significant tax revenues that likely support a part of his salary.

What didn’t happen?

The porn star teacher is causing a stir, but not among the primary stake-holders in this story. The parents didn’t even protest her being there when the story broke. To the contrary, according to CBS Los Angeles, NO parents of the students in question showed up to protest. Only one parent, who lodged a protest on behalf of his 11 year-old daughter, who is not identified as one of the students involved in the controversy, complained about the situation at all, and his was… wait for it… a moral protest.

This is where it all gets really stupid. According to one source, another missing element is a troublesome teacher. This is the true “smoking gun:”

“The district has not had problems with this teacher in the past, officials said.

The allegations do not involve any students in the Oxnard School District.”

And the “moral” of this story? Anything you’ve ever done can and will be held against you, if Mr. Chancer has problems with it.

What should have happened?

If someone’s kids ever encounter a porn star teacher, this is a quick list of good ideas to try:

Immediately filter the internet connection so that adult material isn’t readily available to minors.
Perhaps spend a moment or two in one’s busy day to explain to the kids that it’s called “adult” content for a reason, and then make sure it doesn’t happen again.
Find out if the content was located using a school computer, and if so, let them know that it happened there.

One last note on this controversy, leave the teacher alone. She was engaged in a LEGAL activity PRIOR to her education career. End of sermon.

Eric Edwards won AVN’s Best Actor award and Nina Hartley took home AVN’s Best Supporting Actress trophy for the original production, which featured an unmatched collection of golden era talent including hall of famers Ron Jeremy, Tom Byron, Tasha Voux and Sharon Mitchell.

In the past, Howard’s HotMovies releases have hit the site as special, one-month-only releases. Not this time. Ron Jeremy Haunting A New Mainstream Movie

Ron Jeremy is boning up on his demonology, and preparing for a mainstream movie role as a demon coming back to Earth to fulfill a Mayan prophecy. Let’s rephrase that. He’s coming back as a demon who haunts a hillbilly family’s trailer, and it’s going to be hell in the double-wide.

This isn’t a rump romp with Cytherea. This is a horror-comedy called “The Haunted Trailer” with Houston based director Chuck Norfolk. The mustachioed porn stud is making a new appearance in a mainstream movie, another in a line of over 200.

The Hillbillies are out to get Ron Jeremy.

The script features Ron as a Mayan Demon who is released so that he can carry out the ancient Mayan prophesies about 2012. Unfortunately, he ends up in a trailer, where a group of hillbillies will be forced to fight him for the future of humanity on Earth. He’s up against a formidable gang:

Elvis and Aaron come home to help “momma.”
Everyone knows hillbilly mommas are tough in their own right.
Sister “Prissy” also joins the group.
And what hillbilly contingent wouldn’t go to war against a demon without a televangelist like “Reverend Wiggems?”

Of course, it’s all in good fun, and every Jeremy fan will appreciate the lovable porn star as a hell sent destroyer who finds himself trapped in the heart (or double-wide home) of “Bubbaville.” It has the makings of a fun movie.

Ron Jeremy is a natural for this kind of movie.

Among Ron’s best qualities is that he doesn’t take himself too seriously. SOPA Adult Industry Amendment

An excerpt from the AVN article regarding this matter:

“‘Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif, San Jose) added amendments about pornography and referred to the CEO of Pink Visual (Alison Vivas) as someone she’d like to call in as an expert witness to help craft some of the SOPA regulations on pornography,” wrote Blue. “Pink Visual is known for being at the forefront of pornography and technology, with the first cloud storage for porn, the first iPad porn app, an API and more.”

No argument about Pink Visual’s role as an innovator, but as far as Lofgren mentioning Vivas as a possible expert witness, it never happened, and neither did she offer an amendment on pornography. That singular task was undertaken by Rep. Jared Polis (D-Colo., pictured), whose amendment, had it not been voted down, would have exempted copyright-infringing porn sites from being targeted for takedown by the Attorney General.

The amendment language read, “CERTAIN ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS PROHIBITED IN THE CASE OF OBSCENE OR PORNOGRAPHIC WORKS—The Attorney General shall bring no action, and no public resources shall be expended under this section, for the purpose of protecting any intellectual property right pertaining to a work whose contents are pornographic or obscene in nature.’”

Now, let’s put this into layman’s terms…

Representative Zoe Lofgren, Chair of the 34 Member California Democratic Congressional Delegation, and Representative Jared Polis, Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Colorado’s 2nd district, apparently believe that Adult Industry media should not be helped by SOPA if passed, because the majority of pirated materials online are pornographic. Representative Polis states that his amendment does not infringe on the rights of pornographers, but instead intends to make sure the Attorney General’s Office is not using tax payers’ money to focus on benefiting the Adult Industry.

The article above is slightly unclear on whether Rep. Lofgren opposed Rep. Polis’ amendment or not, but her live response shows a more solid opinion. She states, “I think not supporting this amendment is going to be kind of hard to explain back home…” Considering every legal pornographic company within the United States also pays taxes along with those business Rep. Polis calls “legitimate”, it becomes hard to understand who’s tax dollars are the subject of this conversation.

Regardless, congress voted down this amendment. SOPA, if passed without further legislature intended to single out the Adult Industry, should be used to combat the piracy of Adult Industry media online.

Hunter Moore, proprietor of IsAnyoneUp, was sent this cease-and-desist letter by Joseph Cutler in representation of Facebook.com. The letter specifically cites Moore’s violations of Facebook’s TOS in these areas:

- Publishing screenshots from Facebook that contain personally identifiable information
about Facebook users without first obtaining the users’ written consent to publish the
screenshots.

- Publishing screenshots of a Facebook user profile without first obtaining the written
consent of the creator of the profile.

- Collecting information from other Facebook users without obtaining their consent,
making it clear you (and not Facebook) are the one collecting their information, or
posting a privacy policy explaining what information you collect and how you will use it.

- Threatening, harassing or intimidating other Facebook users.

The keystone in this raunchy scheme, is Facebook cannot speed up due process. The Awl has reported that IsAnyoneUp.com was clearing $13,000 a month at the end of November this year. So, you can imagine how much he has already made off of his 2 year registration back in August of 2010. Anyone with a brain would squeeze out as much time our legal system has to offer before complying, and continue to make exponentially more money off of the buzz Facebook has graced upon them. Not to mention, IsAnyoneUp.com only relies on it’s tie to Facebook as a gimmick. Now that the site has gained worldwide popularity, it can continue to post as many user submitted nude photos as it wants without any aid from the Social Media monolith. Regardless of losing it’s ability to use Facebook sharing tools, web ranking and review sites, such as StumbleUpon and Reddit, will also continue to stream traffic straight to Hunter Moore’s T&A matinee.

In essence, we don’t think Hunter really gives a crap what Mark Zuckerberg thinks anymore. Does this sound similar to how Zuckerberg staved off the Winklevoss twins until Facebook was too big for them to battle? Whoops, too soon?
