Ben Stiller shocked the 25th annual Independent Spirit Awards with Porn.
Stiller invited three porn stars on stage while reading the list of nominees for the night’s final award. The star packed audience was floored as Ben joked he wanted to “maximize the ratings” by adding simulated sex to his presentation.
Stiller said:
“It’s being broadcast live, it’s going long and we are late.
“It’s about 1.15am on the east coast. One thing is clear – anyone channel surfing at this hour is looking for porn.
“So in order to maximize the ratings for tonight’s final award, we have some porn stars being as sexy as they can be.”
Two of Stiller’s sex stars were introduced as Maggie Jizz-and-balls and Philip Semen Hoffman, much to surprise of Maggie Gyllenhaal and Philip Seymour Hoffman who were spotted laughing.
After John Holmes and Harry Reems, the next two most recognizable male faces from the early days of adult films would probably be Jamie Gillis and John Leslie—and fondly enough, the two were best friends.
“I remember the day I met him,” Leslie told AVN. “It was my first trip to New York in 1976, and I was staying with this woman, Sandy, who was an agent in the business at that time, and we went to this off-Broadway show that was about the porno business, and Jamie was there with other people and that’s the first time we met. I’d seen him in the movies and I was a fan of his, and we hit it off right away, and soon after that, I cooked my first meal for him at Sandy’s place. I’ve cooked for him countless times over the years. The dinner was filet of sole Claudine; I saw it on TV, so I figured I’d just try it, and it came out real good and we had a nice dinner. So we remained close.
“We were on a number of sets together, and always had a good time, and he actually lived with me for a little while here in Marin, and he was with me the day Ecstasy Girls swept the AFA awards in 1980,” Leslie continued. “I’ll never forget that night. It was a wonderful night. Everybody loved what happened. Everything was well-deserved, and everybody felt that way. It was [Harold Lime's] movie, and the feeling that night was just warm and cozy and fuzzy and wonderful. Everybody was happy for them for winning those awards, and we were staying at the Holiday Inn, I think it was on Hollywood Boulevard, at that time, and the next day we were going to travel to—I was going back home, and we were traveling to San Francisco with [Harold] and Jesie St. James and a bunch of other people; we were going to do a movie up here. So before we went to the airport, we met in this little lounge where we had a bite of breakfast or something, and I was talking to Jamie, and I said, ‘What a wonderful night that was.’ I didn’t want it to end, it was such a beautiful night, and I remember him saying to me, ‘It was bittersweet, you know.’ So we went to the airport in Burbank and we’re together and we both see this woman, and Jamie goes, ‘Oh,’ and he goes over and starts talking to her, and I’m right with him, and her and I lock eyes, and that was it. That’s my wife. So we got on the plane, and Kathleen and I were sitting and talking, and we weren’t talking to everybody else, and actually everybody left the plane, and the next thing I knew, they were tapping us on the shoulder, saying, ‘You’ve got to get off the plane now.’ And we’ve been together every since. And Jamie felt very much a part of our relationship, and very close to us, and obviously he was at our house many, many, many times once she moved up here and we married and everything. It was part of how close we were; all this stuff built into our relationship, you know. And he always respected me so much for what I did and my paintings and my music, and obviously my acting and directing.”
Another highly recognizable face would have been Ron Jeremy’s, and he too has good memories of Gillis.
“When I first got in the business,” Jeremy recalled, “Harry Reems had retired, John Holmes was in and out of jail, and so the guy that I looked up to the most was really Jamie Gillis; he was like the number one guy when I got into porn. He was the top guy. He was like number one, Marc Stevens was like number two, and then John Leslie was number three. Jamie was number one. He was also a Jewish boy, we used to talk about that as well, and also was a college graduate; he went to Columbia. And Jamie kind of took me under his wing a little bit; he helped me get a part in Dracula Exotica where I played a henchman. Paramount has picked up “Middle Men”, a film written by George Gallo about three men who dive into mid-‘90’s internet porn. It is scheduled to release later this year.
The main character is a straight-and-narrow businessman who builds the first online billing company dealing exclusively with adult entertainment and finds himself in the middle of a whirlwind filled with starlets, conmen, Russian mobsters, federal agents and international terrorists — all while trying to hold on to his marriage and family. The cast includes Luke Wilson, Giovanni Ribisi, Kevin Pollak, James Caan, Gabriel Macht and Terry Crews.
In an online interview, producer Christoper Mallick notes that a character is based on an old business associate who happened to write the original code for credit card billing.

Women are having wilder sex than a year ago with 76 percent admitting to using porn and four in five indulging in role play between the sheets, it emerged Wednesday in a new survey.
The English Netmums website survey found that despite three quarters of women having less sex — due to the demands of longer working hours — they are much more adventurous, The Sun reported.
The findings that 76 percent of women use porn is a 10 percent rise on the two-thirds of females who admitted to watching porn with their partners in a survey last year.
The most popular format is online porn, which is watched by 61 percent of couples.
Just one couple in 20 looks at magazines, while 18 percent get their kicks watching porn DVDs on the television.
The survey of 4,200 women also revealed four in five women like to dress up for their other halves and indulge in role play.
The most popular outfit is a French maid, used by 42 percent, followed by nurses, chosen by a quarter of women.
Policewomen’s uniforms were liked by 16 percent of couples.
More than half of the women surveyed used sex toys in the bedroom to add a buzz of excitement.
Women are also becoming more satisfied with their sex lives.
Last year’s survey showed more than half weren’t happy in the bedroom, but this year more than 60 percent claimed to enjoy fulfilling sex.
The survey also shows women are becoming more self-centred in the bedroom, with more than half saying the pleasure they get from sex is the most important part of a healthy sex life.
Just five percent of women surveyed were concerned with how long their partner can keep going.
“(Women) have busy family lives and careers to juggle. So while they might not be having as much sex as they’d like, they want to ensure they make the most of the precious time they do get,” said Siobhan Freegard, the founder of Netmums.
“Our survey shows they are taking control in the bedroom. They know what to do to get their sex lives back on track and are not afraid to experiment and introduce new methods to spice things up.”
Porn star and Tiger Woods’ mistress, Joslyn James (a.k.a. Veronica Siwik-Daniels), has claimed two different pregnancies via the affair.
Joslyn has claimed to have had one miscarriage and one abortion by Tiger Woods. Both interestingly coinciding with Woods’ wife, Elin Nordegren’s pregnancies.

Moret:Why? What were you afraid of?
Joslyn:Well, Elin was pregnant with Charlie at that time . . . I just didn’t want to ruin anything.
Joslyn:I feel bad for her (Elin). She didn’t deserve this and she didn’t deserve being humiliated.
Moret:Did you have a sense that Elin knew about you?
Joslyn:Not to my knowledge. But she had two kids at home and she was stressed out.

An Albuquerque judge has fined a group responsible for organizing a Nob Hill adult film festival.
After three years, the judge decided the theatre that has hosted the Pornotopia film festival is not zoned for adult entertainment, but organizers say the show will go on.
The Guild Theatre near Central and Carlisle has hosted the Pornotopia film festival— an event that has attracted both porn lovers and controversy.
The festival will likely be held somewhere else.
Matie Fricker, the co-owner of Self Serve, a sex store in Nob Hill, is trying to figure out where she can host Pornotopia later this year.
She has organized the festival since it started in 2007.
A Metro Court judge fined the Guild Theatre $500 for a building code violation stemming from one of the previous festivals, saying the theatre is not zoned for adult entertainment.
“I was hoping the judge would side on the side of the constitution,” Fricker said Thursday. “I think that we have a right to be there, I think we have a right to do what we want in our neighborhood— there’s been no negative community effects.”
City officials admit there have been no formal complaints from the public about the event, but now their legal department is checking to see if the Guild can be fined for the other two festivals.
City Code Compliance official Matthew Conrad said, “We are satisfied with the judge’s decision.”
Fricker says now her challenge is to find a business with a theatre that is zoned for adult entertainment to host this year’s event, but she’s confident she will succeed and make the festival bigger and better than ever.

Jenna Jameson and her man, Tito Ortiz, were razzed out of the Mandalay Bay hotel and casino in Las Vegas.
If you aren’t a fan of UFC, then you may not know that the fight between Randy Couture and Mark Coleman took place recently in Las Vegas. Couture took down Coleman in the second round via choke to win the main event of UFC 109.
During the post-fight interview, Tito and Jenna were making their way around the octagon when Tito felt the need to make a comment in regards to his standing quarrel with Coleman from UFC 106. “Payback’s a bitch mother fucker”, had Coleman motioning to leave the ring for a settlement of the issue. Jenna joined in by flipping Coleman the international finger sign for “Fuck You”. Color commentator Joe Rogan had to calm him quickly before an unsanctioned brawl broke loose.
Instead of leaving the cage, Coleman grabbed the microphone and publicly humiliated Ortiz saying, “Fuck you, Tito. You’re a douchebag.” In support of Coleman, the crowd at the Mandalay Bay Events Center erupted into a “Fuck you Tito” chant.
The squabble then progressed to the web where Ortiz proceeded to call Coleman a “Sissy” via Twitter. Michael DiSabato, Coleman’s buddy and business partner, responded with this:
“The only thing Coleman is afraid of when it comes to Tito is contracting swine flu from that dirty ass d-bag. We all know where he lays his head down at night. Tito wants to get personal with a legend? OK, let’s get personal – we can all go to our porn collections and watch what Tito sleeps with night after night.”
Any possible sanctioned bout between Ortiz and Coleman could not happen before the end of 2010. Ortiz is already scheduled to fight Chuck Liddel at UFC 115 in June. As for Jenna Jameson, I think she’s available.
