Free Porn Virus-Alert - Here We Have VirusLONDON, UK - A new e-mail virus that promises access to free sex films is wreaking havoc on some of the biggest businesses across the world.

The ‘trojan’ virus with the subject ‘Here you have‘ is filling in-boxes with multiple e-mails after infecting users’ address books. In some cases, the virus is bringing down corporate e-mail systems with the sheer weight of messages, the Daily Mail reported.

Trojans are malicious programs that hide inside apparently harmless computer files.

The virus arrives as an e-mail with the subject line ‘Here you have‘ and invites the user to click on a link to a PDF file. One of the most common variants promises a link to free ‘sex downloads’.

Once the user does so, the virus is downloaded onto his machine and spreads to all the contacts inside of his e-mail account, sending them the same e-mail in turn.

The worm also tries to shut down any anti-virus software that has been installed.

Firms including Nasa, Comcast, AIG, Disney and Proctor & Gamble have all been affected.

Comcast was forced to shut down its servers Friday after being hit by the virus.

The term ‘Here you have virus’ is now one of the most searched for phrases on Google.

One version of the e-mail says, ‘Hello: This is the document I told you about, you can find it here‘ and includes a link to what looks like a PDF.

Another includes the subject ‘Just for you‘ and says ‘This is the free download sex movies, you can find it here.

If you receive the messages, computer security firm McAfee says to delete the message without clicking the link and alert your IT office.

Ram Herkanaidu, security researcher at Moscow headquartered Kaspersky Lab, said that the e-mail closely resembles the ‘I love you‘ virus which caused havoc about 10 years ago.

His firm has now raised their global ‘threat’ level.

“We’ve identified an e-mail worm called VBMania. The interesting thing about it is that it uses very old tactics. The worm is so called because it worms itself through your e-mail address book and sends copies of itself out to all your contacts,” he said.

Dear ePassporte Account Holders,

Please be advised that, at 12:00 PM PDT today, September 2, 2010, we were notified that effective immediately, Visa International has suspended our banking partner’s (St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank) ePassporte Visa program. The ePassporte e-Wallet program continues to be up and running, except funds cannot be transferred between your Visa Account and your e-Wallet. At this time ePassporte can no longer issue Visa Cards, and the ability for our Account Holders to make point of sale purchases and withdraw funds from ATMs has also been suspended.

At this time we do not know why this drastic action was taken by Visa. To us, it is unconscionable that such action would be taken without the opportunity for ePassporte to fully understand Visa’s reasons and to be able to take all steps necessary to keep our program running the way it has so successfully done for over 7 years. But that is what Visa has done.

As soon as we have more information we will be in contact with you.

In the meantime please be assured that your funds are safe.

We are very sorry for the short notice and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The ePassporte team is working diligently to rectify this situation.

We kindly ask you to bear with us while we work through this issue.

Please feel free to contact us via the message center or at our call center, should you have any questions, comments or concerns.

Thank You,

Christopher Mallick

PLAYBOY Magazine Now with HD iPhone App

News of this interesting adult tech twist has me wanting to shake Steve Jobs’ hand and say, “If you build it, porn will come.” The world renowned adult magazine, PLAYBOY, has decided to join the mobile game with a brand new app for the Apple iPhone.

The new app is actually a high definition mobile edition of PLAYBOY Magazine, but without any tits or ass. In order to be approved by Apple’s puritan regime, Heff’s dream needed to keep the nudity out. So, if a friend of yours has this app…he can truly say that he reads PLAYBOY for the articles. This comes as a confusing decision by Apple after wiping their application store clean of any and all sexual content earlier this year. A purging that included apps featuring not only nude women, but women wearing bikinis and lingerie as well. Since Steve Jobs’ moral iPhone and iPad crusade, many public out-cries have been made concerning the blatant censorship. None have been more influential than that of the disapproval of a Pulitzer Prize winning cartoonist’s application.

Mark Fiore is the cartoonist for the San Francisco Chronicle, and an application featuring his work was created for the iPhone and iPad. Apple initially disapproved the app for Mark’s satirizing of people within his comics. After a large media out-cry, Apple was forced to approve the app and avoid further negative press. It’s interesting how a satirical comic strip requires a social movement in order to receive approval, but a magazine based solely on the male libido can waltz in by cutting women off from the shoulder down. Steve Jobs, your morals are about as solid as the silicone you strive to never support.

Top Stories:

Montana Fishburne Releasing Sex Tape

1) Laurence Fishburne’s daughter, Montana Fishburne, to make Vivid hardcore title.

* Who knew Laurence Fishburne had a 19 year old daughter, let alone that her name is Montana Fishburne? I know Laurence still likes wearing one earring, but since when does he approve of her first step in entertainment being naked and fucked on camera?

As an adult professional, I would bet on this being a publicity stunt to start her career. Unless Montana and Morpheus have had a falling out, I can’t imagine Laurence Fishburne‘s PR representatives wanting his name being synonymous with hardcore porn.

A Film By Mark Pellington

2) Sasha Grey in negotiations to join cast of “I Melt With You” starring Thomas Jane, Rob Lowe, and Jeremy Piven.

* I have to preface this statement by saying that I am a big fan of Sasha Grey. That being said, is it really news that she is going mainstream anymore? Between The Girlfriend Experience and now co-starring in a long run of episodes on Entourage, i’m pretty sure the public knows Sasha is an adult actress with some decent acting talent. This will peak my interest again when I see Sasha Grey‘s name appear on the next Scorsese film poster. I love her on camera, but she still has a long way to go before making a truly successful cross-over into mainstream.

iPhone 4 Face Time Porn

3) iPhone 4 video chat application, FaceTime, being capitalized upon by adult entrepreneurs.

* New York Magazine just published this story, and I had to laugh. I spend 8 hours a day behind a desk and I wrote THIS almost a month ago. Of course people are using new technology for pornography sales. It has been the way consumer technology has been broken in since Al Gore created the internet. A feature film is about to release focusing on it for Pete’s sake.

(Shameless Plug: Go see Middle Men, starring Luke Wilson, Giovanni Ribisi, Gabriel Macht, and James Caan, on August 6th at a theater near you.)

The world needs a wake-up call if they think Steve Jobs is really anti-porn. Steve Jobs loves porn like dogs love smelling each others’ rears. His left leg might even shake at the mention of the Adult Industry, or maybe that’s just because his wallet has gotten uncomfortably big. Without porn, the internet would be a library today. Go to your local library sometime and count how many people are there. Without the internet, the iPhone would be a Palm Pilot. Palm Pilots would be VHS tapes, and smart phones would be DVDs…you pick.

Amy Fisher Signs contract with Dreamzone Entertainment

4) Amy Fisher signs contract with Dreamzone Entertainment to make 4 hardcore titles.

* Let’s take a step into the DeLorean and go back in time a bit, shall we? Remember Joey Buttafuoco‘s wife being shot in the face by his underage mistress? Amy Fisher was that mistress, and the 2007 sex tape she released, starring her and her husband, sold over 200,000 copies.

This is real porn news! Amy is very excited to be shooting these films saying, “Our society loves sex. It feels so good and we should enjoy it. Sex is beautiful, powerful, and simply put, no one has the right to tell me what I can or can not do with my own private parts. This time, I get to make the choices on what kind of movies I want to make, and I am excited to work with Dreamzone to make my dreams a reality.” Although 35 is much more than a stone’s throw away from her underage antics, Amy has kept her body in top shape. If the 2007 sex tape is any sign of the porn watching public’s acceptance of her, the first film, at the very least, should be a success.

iPhone 4 Face Time Porn

“Hi there. I am an attractive, sincere, fit, 40 year old gentleman. And I have a new toy. my Iphone 4! As you know, this has videochat (facetime). So, i am seeking an attractive woman who also has an iphone 4 for meeting and progressing to some hot iphone facetime fun. Are you open-minded and willing to give this a try? If so, please email me with “facetime” in the header so I know you are real. I would love to give this a go! I am happy to exchange pics first before connecting live if you want. I am for real and sincere. I hope you are too. I am seeking someone who is any age, just physically fit and likes safe, exhibitionist fun.” - CraigsList.com

The above listing is from the “Women Seeking Men” section of CraigsList.com. If you’re anything like me, the sound of money gently echoes through the air with every word. Unfortunately, it does so for a lot of people very fast…so we are both missing the boat.

Business Insider has found an unnamed adult company already making moves to capitalize on the brand new consumer software. The Craig’s List post for New York states:

“Starting an online interactive pornography firm where woman will use the iPhone 4 to video chat with potential customers on a pay as you go basis. Hours are flexible, pay will increase as the business builds. Woman will receive a free iPhone 4 to use as personal time when not working. Woman will talk to potential clients and chat with them and perform various acts as desired by clients.”

For any confident woman looking into a new cell phone, this is a dream come true. It’s hard to say whether the white wizard, a.k.a. Steve Jobs, will allow the perversion of his precious proprietary software. Needless to say, if it becomes as successful as many other cam girl programs have in recent past…Apple will not be able to ignore it.

Pornography will have its own top-level domain, dot-XXX, the board of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers decided Friday.

The proposal was made under ICANN’s rules for “sponsored” TLDs, through which domains have been created by interest groups including the aeronautical industry (dot-aero) and the cooperative movement (dot-coop).

ICM Registry, the company that proposed the dot-XXX domain, welcomed the vote.

“It’s been a long time coming,” ICM Chairman Stuart Lawley said in a statement, adding that he is “excited” by the move.

“The decision should soon bring to fruition our six-year effort to create a specific Web address for online adult entertainment, and comes on the heels of an independent review that declared that ICANN’s previous decision to deny dot-xxx was wrong,” he said.

ICM Registry says it is a “completely independent entity with no affiliation, current or historic, with the adult entertainment industry.” Read the rest of this entry »

Microsoft Decides on No Porn for Mobile 7

REDMOND, Wash.—Microsoft has followed the mobile app leader (i.e. Apple) with a firm no-porn policy for the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace.

“Images that are sexually suggestive or provocative, Content that generally falls under the category of pornography, or Content that a reasonable person would consider to be adult or borderline adult content,” states Microsoft in its Windows Phone 7 app guidelines.

While not yet clarifying whether it will offer any alternative way of loading applications, the software company appears to be as determined as Apple to control apps deployed on the Windows Phone 7 OS.

“Businesses wanting their own privately developed, privately deployed software will still have to go via Marketplace,” wrote Ars Technica. “Their programs will still be private, but as things stand, there won’t be any mechanism for cutting out the middleman.”

Although this may seem like a giant slap in the face to the Adult Industry, who is traditionally at the forefront of breaking new technologies to the consumer world, it really is just a bunch of smoke and mirrors. Apple and Microsoft are simply playing “anti-porn” as a chess piece toward the more conservative technological consumer. With current mobile web browsers now being able to render full web pages and online media, having porn apps is just a mute point. So, the companies are taking a marketing side-step to blow sunshine and rainbows up the conservative and religious sector’s respective asses.

The only real point made in this entire so-called “Mobile Anti-Porn Movement”, is Apple’s decision to continue cutting Adobe’s flash video format from the iPhone and iPad browsers. Most of the streaming porn found on the internet, especially the free stuff, is already uploaded in flash video. Converting those videos would just be a massive waste of time and money at this point.

U.K. Signs Digital Rights Bill

British Parliament has passed the widely debated Digital Economy Bill.

The bill encompasses online copyright infringement, Internet piracy, regulation of TV and radio, regulations over ISPs and various other digital topics. As part of a “wash up” process, an action taken by parliament to restrict debate, the bill was passed by a vote of 189 to 47.

May large torrent sites and file-sharing gurus have complained that the bill is excessive. Where it has been commonplace for a suspected pirate site to receive a warning letter from those they are allegedly stealing copyrighted content from, it seems now that copyright holders can urge the government to close a website without ever attending court.

Anytime the government decides to take control of regulating free information, the technological community cringes. Although, file-sharing website owners have commented that there’s nothing to fear for experienced file-sharers.

Revision3 is a television network for the internet generation. They create and produce all-original episodic community driven programs watched by dedicated web surfers.

What seems to be just another iPad promotion, is actually a 70′s pornographic concise review of Apple’s newest personal computing device. Looking past the obvious advertisements for GoDaddy.com, this review touches on the main points of interest for the iPad.

Revision3 notes how the iPad is basically just a giant iPod. Out of the box, the iPad still needs to be synced in order for it to become active. The solid LED screen, lol, also lacks the ability to multi-task, a camera and Adobe Flash support. Sorry gentlemen, that little blue building block is all you get to tug to. Maybe if we dressed it in some lingerie…yea I’ve got nothing.

Panasonic 3D TV

After only a week of being available, Panasonic has completely sold out of it’s new 3D Televisions.

Bloomberg.com reports the Panasonic became the first to offer 3D sets in the U.S. with the March 10 release of its 50-inch full high-definition plasma TV that came with a pair of glasses and a 3-D Blu-ray player, retailing at $2,899.99.

Hustler recently unveiled plans to produce “This Ain’t Avatar XXX” parody in 3D, which is set to street in the summer. Rob Smith, Hustler’s Director of Operations, is happy with Panasonic and looking forward to the other television manufacturers’ success in 3D technology as well.

“Hustler is very excited by the success of Panasonic with its first run of 3D televisions,” Smith said. “We also look forward to JVC, Phillips, and others doing well in the market. I feel that the groundwork for 3D in the home is already being laid by the mainstream film industry. With all the great feature films coming out in 3D people are going to want that technology in the home and after spending money on that new 3D TV, why not watch your porn that way? What you gain from 3D, the depth and the heightened realism, has its greatest impact in adult content. 3D is perfect for porn and vice versa.”

There has been some curiosity surrounding Hustler’s plans for more 3D titles. The major porn giant has not made any plans to create more 3D porn, but it’s not due to production difficulty.

“I don’t see it being an impediment,” he said. “At the moment it’s unfamiliar territory and it requires planning, forethought, and testing. Like all new production technology it will quickly become just the norm.

“My only concern with 3D in the home is competing 3D methods and players. The home viewing market, whether DVD, broadcast, or streaming content won’t be able to support a handful of delivery formats. We need a 3D standard for Blu-ray and broadcast to emerge.”

The 3D Media watch continues. Will it take the consumer tech world by storm, or will it fizzle out like beta-max? Stay tuned, I’ll keep you updated.

Google Stops Censoring in China

Google and China continue to duke it out over web freedom.

Google may decide to close all operations in China if an agreement cannot be reached concerning China’s regulation of search results. Closing would greatly affect Google’s partners in China; who would then have to either find a different search partner to power their tools or filter search results themselves in order to comply with China’s regulations.

Although this has been brought about by Google refusing to censor it’s search results in China, the decision has been applauded. At a March 2 hearing on Internet freedom in Washington, D.C., assistant Senate Majority Leader Dick Durbin (D-IL) praised Google for its decision.

Google CEO Eric Schmidt is confident a solution will be found.

ICANN Debates .xxx

ICANN has deferred a decision for at least 70 days on whether to create the “.xxx” domain name as an online red-light district.

The board of ICANN – the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers – has given its chief executive and chief lawyer two weeks to recommend options for the agency to handle the controversial issue. ICANN, which was meeting in Kenya, oversees the allocation of Internet addresses globally.

The .xxx domain campaign has seen three strikes already from ICANN. If denied again after the 70 day layover, this would be the fourth. “.xxx” is a proposed top-level domain (TLD) intended as a voluntary option for sexually explicit sites on the Internet. The name is inspired by the former MPAA and BBFC “X” rating, now commonly applied to pornographic movies as “XXX”. ICANN announced in June 1, 2005 that .xxx would become a sponsored top-level domain similar to .aero, .travel, etc. but it was never implemented. On May 10, 2006, ICANN reversed its decision, and on March 30, 2007, ICANN rejected the .xxx proposal a third time.

Ding Ding!

Adobe is apparently humping mad at Apple for not supporting Flash content on it’s new iPad. Their official Flash blog has posted a few poignant examples of how surfing popular sites on the internet via the iPad will look.Adobe inserts Porn oniPad

“Millions of websites use Flash,” the blog post says. “Get used to the blue Legos.”

The iPad Flash controversy started when Apple blog AppleInsider.com noticed that promotional images and even a video posted on Apple’s Web site appeared to show Flash-based content being displayed on the iPad. The content included a photo gallery and other Flash-based material from The New York Times’ Web site.

The controversy came to a head when a user submitted a formal complaint to the Federal Trade Commission on Friday. Paul Threatt, a graphic designer from Atlanta, said he felt the marketing materials were “willful false advertising.”

As you can see, the Adobe employee and blogger for TheFlashBlog.com chose to use a porn example, BangBros.com to be specific, in his post. The image was taken down and replaced with a small apology for any offense. Although meant to be a joke, the image brings up many concerns for Adult Industry sites looking to utilize the latest and greatest of Apple products. BangBros.com has offered an MP4 version of it’s site that can be viewed via the iPad. It will be interesting to see how this battle plays out.

Mobile Apps Make Billions

Gartner, global technology researcher, has released a new report indicating that consumers will spend $6.2 billion on mobile applications in 2010.

Analysts expect that 4.5 billion app downloads will occur in 2010, with eighty percent of these apps being free to consumers. Mobile advertising revenue is expected to generate $0.6 billion worldwide as a result. Gartner is also expecting downloads to rise to more than 21.6B by 2013; with the percentage of free downloads increasing to 87 percent in the same time.

Mobile applications can be offered as free due to internal charges or pure advertising revenue. Some applications are free to download the program itself, but all program extensions are locked until paid for. Advertising revenue has been created through mobile apps by placing ads between game levels or on loading screens.

“As smartphones grow in popularity and application stores become the focus for several players in the value chain, more consumers will experiment with application downloads,” Gartner research director Stephanie Baghdassarian, said. “Games remain the No. 1 application, and mobile shopping, social networking, utilities and productivity tools continue to grow and attract increasing amounts of money.”

The study alludes to the future trends smart phones will be experiencing within the market. As smart phones drop in price, the average tech savvy of their users is going to also drop. As users of smart phones become less technologically inclined, they will also be more reluctant to pay for applications.

“Growth in smartphone sales will not necessarily mean that consumers will spend more money, but it will widen the addressable market for an offering that will be advertising-funded,” Baghdassarian added. “The value chain of the application stores will evolve as rules are set and broken in an attempt to find the most profitable business model for all parties involved.”

“Application stores will be a core focus throughout 2010 for the mobile industry and the applications themselves will help determine the winner among mobile device platforms,” said Gartner research director Carolina Milanesi. “Consumers will have a wide choice of stores and will seek the ones that make it easy for them to discover applications they are interested in and make it easy to pay for them when they have to. Developers will have to consider carefully not only which platform to support but also which store to promote their applications in.”
