Japanese Parents have Party to Marry Off Kids

Japanese parents are typically very helpful and hands on when it comes to raising their children, but now it has been taken to a whole new level. Instead of parents taking a backseat and leave finding love to their children, they are now dragging them to matchmaking events at hotels and convention centers.

“A government report from 2005 showed 71.5 percent of men aged 25 to 29 were unmarried compared with 47.1 percent in 1990. For women, 32 percent from 30 to 34 years of age were single, compared with half that number in 1990.”

These parents need to stop freaking out. If my parents tried dragging me to some convention center filled with losers that couldn’t find a wife/husband- I’d be pissed. Maybe they should realize that maybe their kid is holding off getting married because they want to actually be happy for as long as possible.

The HotMovies 100 Grand Gala is this coming Saturday and we are all getting very excited for it. We are especially excited to see a lot of websites and blogs in the industry giving shout outs to us and our party.

The Kegstand

The Greener Grass has done what we’ve all wanted, but have been too lazy to do. They’ve taken the liberty of designing a new contraption to hold a keg and serve as a base for what we all love to do [myself included, you've seen the picture] keg stands.

They have included a ledge/rim that goes around the keg that can be used to set your beer on, or even as a handle while you’re doing your keg stand. That way you don’t have to worry about your hands slipping off the wet, cold keg.

Another ingenious addition to the carrier are wheels. They propose putting two wheels, much like a trash can, for mobility. That way you don’t have to find your biggest and strongest friend to ride along with you to pick the keg up.
