We see porn stars nowadays doing a lot of different things after they stop making videos. You have someone like Sasha Grey who models, acts, and even plays in a band. Then there’s Misti Dawn who does social media consulting and runs a blog on her own site. However, back when pornographic actress Gauge left the scene, the internet and life outside of the business was not quite the same.

Gauge broke in to the world of porn back in the late 90’s at the age of 18. For a number of years until the mid-2000’s she was at the top of the industry and a fan favorite. But after she called it quits she soon learned that life outside of porn was a lot tougher. In a recent interview with Billy Watson Gauge explained some of the struggles that she faced after leaving the industry and why she’s making a comeback.

Although she’s coming back to the world she feels comfortable in; Gauge, who’s now 33, may find it more difficult than she did back in the day. The porn industry is incredibly competitive these days, as it mentions in the interview. There are tons of girls out there fighting to get a chance. So it’s going to be interesting to see if Gauge can rekindle some of the magic that she had with films like Aurora Snow Vs Gauge.

Perhaps nostalgia will help ease her back in, though. Some of the comments to this interview on YouTube indicate that a lot of people are excited for her return.

I dumped SO many loads to her back in the day!! Next to the original Devon- there is no other porn star I want to bang more! Yep- would still gnaw off my own arm for the opportunity to blast on her face!!

Whether Gauge is able to make a complete comeback to porn or not is something that we’ll have to wait and see. But either way I am excited to see what she puts out and if it’s as good as what we have come to expect from her.

Porn star, and former Charlie Sheen Goddess, Bree Olson, has come forward to ABC News on the topic of The Tiger Blooded Space Warlock himself. Olson stands firm in protecting Sheen from any further media slander, but does not extend the same loving courtesy for her sister goddess, Natalie Kenly.

Natalie “Natty” Kenly, is a poster-girl for Cali Chronic X Magazine, a marijuana magazine. She was also recently named “Chronic Girl 2010”. Bree Olson details the “thick” atmosphere within the Sheen manor between Kenly and herself. In previous interviews picturing Olson, Kenly, and Sheen, Kenly had stated their precarious love trio simply “worked” for them. Olson’s statements of Kenly crying daily do not paint the same picture.

I implore you, the reader, to stay unbiased after watching this video. Although even I lean toward believing Bree Olson‘s statements specifically focusing on Natalie Kenly, her incessant protection of Charlie Sheen is still very peculiar. I do not rule out that “Beauty and the Beast” is possible, but to imply Charlie Sheen has never done drugs is a blatant public relations decision. One that perfectly aligns with Bree Olson‘s plans to attempt moving into mainstream acting.

Bree honey, didn’t you learn anything from Sasha Grey? You don’t actually have sex with the cocaine addicted movie star, you just act like you did on a mainstream HBO television series.

Mark Wahlberg - HBO Porn Drama

After creating a recurrent character out of Mega Porn Star Sasha Grey on his hit series, Entourage, it does not come as a surprise that Mark Whalberg‘s next project is reportedly a drama focusing on the porn industry.

Whalberg and Executive Producer of Entourage, Steve Levinson, have teamed up with writer James Frey on the project. James Frey is best known for his media controversies. Frey’s memoirs, titled A Million Little Pieces, detail experiences during his treatment for alcohol and drug addiction at a rehabilitation center in Minnesota. Shortly after being released, The Smoking Gun website published an article: “A Million Little Lies: Exposing James Frey’s Fiction Addiction” alleging that Frey fabricated large parts of his memoirs, including details about his criminal record. The questionable writing style eventually reached the ear of day time television giant, Oprah Winfrey, who invited James Frey and his publisher, Nan Talese, to the show for answers. Talese said she and Frey were led to believe the show was going to be a panel discussion on “Truth in America”. Just before air time, both Talese and Frey were told the topic of the show had been changed to “The James Frey Controversy”. According to Talese, at the end of the show, Oprah pulled Frey aside and said, “I know it was rough, but it’s just business.” In May 2009, Vanity Fair reported that Oprah Winfrey had called James Frey and made a formal apology for blasting him on her show for this scandal.

“The plot will focus on a giant video company under siege from Internet competitors and a girl from the Midwest whose boyfriend convinces her to move to Los Angeles to become a star,” – New York Post

“We’re going to make a sprawling epic about the porn business in LA. We’re going to tell the type of stories no one else has told before, and go places no one has gone before.” – James Frey, New York Post

There are many national publications that are already digging at this project and James Frey saying, “I’ve already seen Boogie Nights” and “Just to make sure everyone knows it’s a fictional show, author James Frey has been tapped to write the pilot.” Before you create a false notion of this being a preordained flop by a lying writer, hear me out.

The only thing released recently concerning the modern Adult Entertainment Industry, is Middle Men starring Luke Wilson and Giovanni Ribisi. The film has had mixed reviews and a mild showing, but has not failed. What people in the porn industry know about their fans, is that they DO NOT like associating their personal identities with their tastes and/or interests in pornography. Wahlberg‘s HBO series would fill the gap that a feature mainstream Adult Industry focused film creates, and most likely be much more risque. Those interested are able to watch the hour long drama in the comfort and privacy of their own homes, rather than place their faces amongst others in their community at the local movie theater.

Not to mention, have you read James Frey‘s newer works? In late 2007, Frey signed a new three-book, seven figure deal with Harper Collins to release his novel, Bright Shiny Morning, which was published May 13, 2008. The title made the New York Times Best Seller list, and Michelle Green of People magazine gave the novel a positive review, calling Frey a “wildly talented storyteller”, commenting that the novel is “so powerful it makes one wonder why he ever detoured into nonfiction.”
